Adoring wedding day at Hudson Garden Pavilion & Event Center
"This was one of my favorite wedding portraits of the couple. I was thrilled to shoot at this venue. Like Katelyn, I have a great appreciation for impressionist fine art. I was ecstatic to discover that the venue had a garden dedicated to Claude Monet. The Hudson Garden Pavilion truly one of the prettiest venues I have ever seen, has brought Monet's Garden to life. . It's a replica of Monet's Water Lilies series, complete with lily pads."

Why have a Garden Wedding
In the state of Colorado, we have so many options with the scenic mountains and lakes. What makes a garden wedding equal or even better? First off, I would like to state, in my opinion, the best month to have a garden wedding is early June. With spring wrapping up, all of the gorgeous spring flowers are still in bloom. You can even see some of the magic of nature in the air, from dandelion seedlings to a light waft of subtle cottonwood. Trust me, as a photographer, this is pure magic to photograph. If you like the ethereal nature feel, this is your season. You can have a garden wedding anywhere. I highly recommend the Hudson Garden Pavilion & Event Center; however, this can be achieved even in a backyard scenario.
What makes a garden wedding better than a mountain wedding is the timing of the year. Consider the temperature, the time of year, as well as what is in bloom. It also is easier on your guests compared to mountain locations that can be challenging to get to, as well as for some guests with the altitude. All weddings are magical no matter where you have it; however, if you are looking for a garden wedding or backyard wedding, here are the reasons!
