One of the best ways to achieve an authentic family photo session is by engaging with the little ones.
There are many games children love to play!
From playing with Daddy to dancing with Mommy, peek-a-boo and tickle games!
I encourage this to set the stage on caputruring the must-have family photos.
The best family sessions are genuine moments! I cannot emphasize this enough: through play, laughter, and even breaks that are needed with young children, real moments are the key. I can guide you; what you bring to the photography session is your unique family.

Some must-haves to bring to your family session with young children.
Snacks and water are encouraged for your family session. Children often need breaks or encouragement to continue a successful photo session.
Toys, or comfort blankets, etc are welcome; children often can become overwhelmed from stimulation.
Some of the most precious moments captured have come from taking a break and soothing a child.
Taking cues from the children is how I photograph my family sessions.
I will guide and watch and let the children lead.
